The GetInsured Solution is easy and accessible so that consumers can stay on track with their health insurance. When they sign into the Solution for the first time, each consumer gets their own personalized portal. With just a few simple steps – entering some basic information, creating a secure login password, and setting home and mailing addresses – consumers can complete their application and enroll in a plan. From there, they can decide if they’d like to receive notices and alerts through email, SMS/text, or through the mail. By setting up their own preferences, consumers never miss essential tasks like enrolling in a plan or reporting changes, and all their notices can quickly be found in their dedicated inbox.  

Accessible Communications 

Approximately 61 million adults in the United States live with a disability, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This number includes individuals with visual, hearing, cognitive, and motor impairments who benefit greatly from websites that comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and follow Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

The GetInsured Notice Solution generates all notices required by federal and state rules and regulations. These are sent as prescribed by state and federally required timelines and are available in Spanish or English, depending on the consumer’s preference. But that doesn’t mean exchanges are without options. 

The Solution allows each SBE to keep its unique voice and identity, all while using a shared and efficient technology base. Our design system includes a wide range of pre-defined and pre-written notices, making it easy for each exchange to create, customize, and configure messages that fit their brand. This way, all communications reflect each exchange’s unique style and tone while delivering important information. Exchanges also have the ability to control and set up their own notification schedule, ensuring important updates reach consumers quickly and accurately.  

Ad Hoc Campaigns 

Health policies and regulations at both the state and federal levels can change multiple times throughout the year, often prompting ad hoc communications from the exchange to ensure consumers are informed and compliant with the latest updates. This is especially important when there’s sudden changes like the Covid-19 pandemic or the end of PHE continuous coverage enhancements. With ad hoc notices, our clients were able to let their consumers quickly know about their options and flexible shopping dates, helping them continue with their health care.
