Starting on October 15, people in Minnesota can view the various dental and health insurance plans available to them in 2020 through a new shopping tool on MNsure.org. Powered by GetInsured, this new shopping tool will allow those planning to sign up for coverage two weeks to preview and compare plans before the open enrollment period begins on November 1.
There will be 122 health plans and seven dental plans available on the Minnesota exchange for 2020, and consumers will be able to choose from among them the ones that best suit their individual or family’s needs. MNsure-certified assisters will have access to the new enrollment platform, enabling them to easily walk Minnesotans through the entire shopping and enrollment process.
Working closely with the GetInsured team, MNsure is making new improvements to the enrollment platform. The new account dashboard will help consumers stay informed about their account, and make necessary account updates faster – including adjusting the amount of tax credits applied to their monthly premium. Consumers will be able to view enrollment details for each member of their family, as well as view important notices from MNsure through a secure inbox.
An improved navigation and a more user-friendly online shopping experience will make shopping for dental and healthcare coverage in Minnesota easier and simpler than ever. Meanwhile, more efficient information sharing between MNsure and insurance companies will provide quicker enrollment processing and faster access to care – a benefit all those needing coverage can appreciate.
