Company brings on board locally-based technology experts to further strengthen and support state-based marketplaces on the East coast

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.Dec. 14, 2020  Today, GetInsured, a market-leading government healthcare IT provider, announced it is expanding its East coast footprint by hiring local technology experts to serve the company’s growing East coast customer base, and lay the groundwork for a larger expansion post-Covid. All together the company now employs more than 250 on the East coast. GetInsured’s East coast hiring supports the company’s national growth strategy, better positions the company to provide exceptional customer service, and paves the way for formal office locations to be strategically established post-Covid.

GetInsured’s East coast team is led by Amit Dhawan, who oversees account management and client success. Since 2013, Dhawan has been an integral part of many successful state-based marketplace implementations including Colorado, Massachusetts, New Mexico and New Jersey. He also was responsible for maintaining operations for CMS Federal small business exchanges and the Arkansas small business exchange.

Rajiv Chawla, Vice President of Delivery, manages implementation and serves as the day-to-day lead for the various functions within delivery. With more than 15 years of experience, Chawla is responsible for organizational and technological innovation, and advises senior leadership on various areas, including strategy, IT, platform management and operations. Chawla previously served as Head of Information Technology for Access Health, the Connecticut health insurance exchange.
