SEATTLE – July 9, 2015 – Array Health, a leading provider of private health insurance exchange technology, recently underwent a SOC 2 Type 2 audit to demonstrate that the infrastructure of the Array Spectrum™ private exchange solution  met the criteria set for within the principles involving security, availability, processing integrity, and confidentiality. This certification and attestation verifies that Array Health has internal controls and processes established to deliver high-quality services to its customers.

Moss Adams, an independent consulting firm, performed the review and issued a report in June 2015, attesting that Array Health has relevant controls in place and operating effectively for the Array Spectrum™ platform. In addition to the information security and technology programs, the audit scope also included the development, assurance and maintenance of the code, on-boarding and off-boarding customers and data operations. The SSAE 16 SOC 2 examination replaces the Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70 (SAS70) attestation.

“Array Health is committed to offering a brilliant e-commerce experience for consumers, employers and insurers,” said Jonathan Rickert, CEO of Array Health. “The successful completion of this voluntary audit offers third-party validation that we are meeting the highest standards, and provides our customers with extra reassurance.”

With the SOC 2 Type 2 audit, Array Health is able to meet the requirements of insurers who must operate within SOC 2 compliance boundaries. Service organization audits and requirements have become increasingly important as the private health insurance exchange market matures and more organizations enter the rapidly growing industry.
