GetInsured was founded in 2005 on the belief that technology could improve access to health care. We have spent almost 15 years building health insurance shopping and enrollment systems, striving to provide easy-to-understand interfaces that help consumers find the plans that best fit their individual and family needs. GetInsured is now the leading provider of health insurance technology and customer service solutions for state governments, employers, and consumers. Since 2010, our execution focus has been on the ACA, and specifically State-Based Marketplaces/Exchanges, their partners and customers. Through constant innovation, evaluation and improvement, GetInsured exceeds expectations with outstanding customer solutions, reliable delivery and impeccable quality.

Our marketplace implementation experience spans seven states, and our award-winning decision support tools have been an integral part of each of them. GetInsured is currently the leading provider of health insurance technology and customer service solutions for state governments, with eight state clients — Idaho, Minnesota, Nevada, Washington, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Virginia. GetInsured serves millions of consumers while working closely with insurance carriers and state and federal regulators. During the 2021 open enrollment period, 75 percent of all state-based marketplace enrollments were serviced by a GetInsured-built platform. Since the launch of the Affordable Care Act, GetInsured has enrolled Americans in just under 12 million plans.

We’ve set the industry bar with site designs and tools that make it easy for consumers to shop, compare and enroll in plans online. For more than a decade, we’ve operated a large-scale private health insurance exchange and consumer support centers that today serve millions of consumers annually in a marketplace of more than 17,000 health insurance plans. Most recently, our work on an Interactive Virtual Agent with Nevada Health Link was recognized as a Silver The Stevie® Awards winner in The 22nd Annual American Business Awards®.

This AI-driven innovation offers callers natural language interactions that answer common questions and requests instantaneously, augmenting Nevada’s call center’s normal business hours by operating round-the-clock support to individuals seeking help with basic needs such as password resets and finding enrollment assistance. GetInsured has also been recognized by the Webby Awards and the Web Marketing Association for our streamlined user interfaces and innovative tools that make health insurance shopping and enrollment easy and intuitive for consumers.
